Papers are invited on all aspects of snow sports safety including (but not limited to) injury epidemiology, equipment design and safety standards, paralympic wintersports and biomechanics, orthopaedic treatment, rehabilitation and prevention, ski patrol, ski area design & management. Contributions are particularly welcome from research students and those attending their first ISSS conference.
SACHICO YAHASHI MEMORIAL PRIZE
In memory of Sachico Yahashi, a prize will be awarded to the best paper/presentation given by a young presenter at the meeting as judged by the ISSS Scientific Committee. The value of the prize will be USD 1000.-. The result will be announced and the award presented at the conference dinner on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017.
The Sports Engineering journal are proud to be supporting the 22nd ISSS Congress. The journal are providing a prize of 300 EUR for the Best Engineering Research, delivered as a presentation or poster. The competition will be judge by a panel of experts, with the winner announced at the Congress Banquet. Sports Engineering is the official journal of the International Sports Engineering Association.
